Template for the centre to check before launch. This is standard wording written to match what the website does. It is not legal advice. Anything in [square brackets] needs confirming or filling in.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website puts on your device when you visit it, so it can remember something about you, such as that you are logged in. Websites can also store similar information in your browser in other ways; we call all of these cookies here.

The cookies we use

We keep cookies to a minimum. We don’t use cookies to track you, show you adverts or measure how you use the site, so we don’t need to ask for your permission and you won’t see a cookie banner.

Other websites

Some pages link to other websites, such as Google Maps for directions, our booking system and our social media pages. They have their own cookie policies, and set their cookies only if you follow the link.

Where a page has a video, it is not loaded until you press play. It then plays from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced service (youtube-nocookie.com), which says it does not store information about you unless you play the video.

Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. The website will still work for visitors; staff need cookies to log in.

Changes to this policy

If we start using other cookies, for example to measure visits, we will update this page and ask for your permission first where the law requires it. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
